Brood care - love without words

The ability to show care and protect offspring is deeply rooted in many animal species. Such behaviors are controlled by nerves and hormones, similar to humans. Whether insect, frog, bird or fish: they also show bonding behavior. This exhibition shows mothers, fathers, helpers and entire communities that demonstrate how devotion makes a start in life possible. Perhaps animals feel differently. Maybe not like us. "Der Blaue Reiter" is a circle of very different personalities who achieved visionary things in the fields of aesthetic theory, painting, graphic art, literature and music. With its two exhibitions organized in 1911 and 1912 and the almanac published in 1912, it stands for a subjectivization in art, the liberation of color from the object and the idea of an equality of artistic forms of expression from different epochs, genres and regions. He is thus part of the international avant-garde movements before the First World War. An exhibition of the Museum Wiesbaden in cooperation with the Städtische Galerie im Lenbachhaus and Kunstbau München, the Paula Modersohn-Becker Museum, Bremen, and the Museo Comunale d'Arte Moderna, Ascona - Fondazione Marianne Werefkin.
